Description: COMM A cafe visitor whiles away the time in a company of bronze brave soldier Svejk, famous character of Czech writer Jaroslav Hasek, in western Ukrainian city of Lviv, 544 km (337 miles) west of capital Kiev Wednesday, June 12, 2002. The sculpture was recently made by Ukrainian artist Sergei Oleshko. Lviv could not obtain a possibility to raise a monument to Austrian emperor Francis Joseph, but did an honor to his most legendary soldier. Photo UNIAN
